Welcome to our bubble tea house

Bubble tea was originally created as a tea-based drink that was invented in the 1980s in tea shops in Taichung, Taiwan. As in the name, most bubble tea drinks contain a tea base mixed with fruit flavor or milk. Ice-blended versions are usually mixed with more ice, resulting in a slushy consistency. The fun of bubble tea comes from the small chewy tapioca balls, also known as the “pearls”, boba, zhen zhu, or “the chew balls”.

About Us

Bubble tea was originally created as a tea-based drink that was invented in the 1980’s in tea shops in Taichung, Taiwan. As in the name, most bubble tea drinks contain a tea base mixed with fruit flavor or milk. The fun of bubble tea comes from the small chewy tapioca balls, also known as the “pearls”, boba, zhen zhu, or “the chew balls”. The drink is made in a variety of ways and has evolved over the decades.

The key to bubble tea is focusing on the lumps. Instead of drinking it like a normal, boring soft drink, you aim your over-sized straw for the bottom of the cup, and slurp up the orbs of tapioca that bob around there. Do it right, and you’re rewarded with a rat-a- tat sensation as you hoover the lumps up and gulp them down.

It’s immensely satisfying when the slippery balls stream up the straw and fill your mouth. You will find yourself slurping pointlessly (and loudly) at the dregs to hoover up every last drop, until you realize sadly that the experience was over. At first sight, our TEAsers drink could seem totally childish – but give it a go and you’ll be hooked at first gulp.

However, the name ‘Bubble Tea’ doesn’t actually refer to the tapioca pearls at the bottom, but instead to the tasty bubbly-foam at the top of the tea which is created when shaken.

Today, bubble tea shops can be found on nearly every corner of Taiwan’s streets. The drink has spread to neighboring countries like Japan, South Korea and China and then to the rest of the world, including the U.S. and Australia during the mid-1990’s. Its now time for INDIA to taste some tea twists.

FAQ

TEAsers is an all exclusive Bubble Tea shop that aims to serve you original Taiwanese style Bubble tea. An exciting drink based on Jasmine green tea or Assam Black tea with fruit flavoured infusions and yummy chewy toppings like tapioca pearls or bursting juice balls or jellies. You have to try it….to experience the fun.

The most accredited story about the creation of bubble tea is the Chun Shui Tang Teahouse in Taichung, Taiwan. The founder of the teahouse, Liu Han-Chieh, observed how the Japanese served cold coffee while on a visit in the 1980s, and applied this method to tea. The actual creator of bubble tea is Lin Hsiu Hui, the teahouse’s product development manager, who poured a sweetened pudding with tapioca balls into the iced tea drink during a meeting in 1988. The beverage was well received by the people at the meeting, leading to its inclusion on the menu. It ultimately became the franchise’s top-selling product.

Yes! Its just tea. Simple yet sophisticated. Just as we witnessed the evolution of traditional Kumbakonam Filter coffee into Espressos and Lattes, we at TEAsers take the inspiration to revolutionize “The Nair kadai Chai” into bubblecious ‘’Bubble Tea”.

The name ‘Bubble Tea’ doesn’t actually refer to the tapioca pearls at the bottom, but instead to the tasty bubbly-foam at the top of the tea which is created when shaken.

Bubble tea is also known as boba drink, pearl milk tea, boba ice tea, boba nai cha, zhen zhou nai cha, pearl ice tea, black pearl tea and possible many others.

TEAsers introduces this wonderfully tasting drink to all age groups; from school going toddlers, fun loving youths, happily wedded couples and to the gracious grandparents.

TEAsers as a policy does not recommend Tapioca pearls, Popping bobas or Jellies to children under 6 years of age as they may find it difficult to chew. We suggest you try TEAsers without the toppings, as they are equally delicious.

We have a wide variety of choices starting from the healthy options like Soya milk and semi skimmed milk. For those who like it full fat..we have the thick, sugary condensed milk or the rick creamy dairy creamers.

We use freshly brewed tea leaves from the finest manufactures and the fruit flavours concentrates that go into the drink along with the popping bobas are acquired from our loyal established partners who manufacture the same with very high standards. Our experienced bubble maker will make the bubble tea based on your choice of base tea and fruit flavour and give it a super shake to make the tiny bubbles in the drink and then add the amazing popping bobas or tapioca pearls or jellies to make the drink all exciting and colourful. The cup is sealed using a machine which does its job to perfection. This exotic drink is served with a think straw so that our customers can easily slur up the pearls and enjoy the drink at the same time without a messy play.

Yes! All components are 100% vegetarian.

The USP of “TEAsers” is — “Tailor made to suit individual choices”. We instigate you to be creative and innovative and just go wild and experiment on different taste buds.

Yes, absolutely! Just ask our Bubble makers to add half sugar or make it sugar free.

At TEAsers we call them “NaughTEA Bobas”. These are small juice balls that add the much needed twist to the drink. The shell is made from Seaweed extract, with delicious fruit burst flavours inside!

Tapioca pearls are small marble sized black chewy toppings found at the bottom of your bubble tea. They can sometimes be found to be white or transparent depending on the ingredients of the pearl. We at TEAsers use the black pearl which includes sweet potato, cassava root and brown sugar.
